CyberSitter
Price: $39.95

System Requirements: Will work with any system running Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP, 3 MB disk space, "Memory use is completely optimized so even systems with minimal memory installed will experience no speed degradation."
This program uses a database of known classified websites, as well as filtering based on keywords. Web access can be controlled via a time dialog. The filter can also be switched on and off, or all internet access can be disallowed. Sites can be manually added to be blocked or allowed. Reports can be emailed to an administrator, and access to the control program can be password-protected. Email programs can be filtered. Web-based email is filtered through the web surfing keywords function.

Likes: Reasonably priced. Comes out of the box with defaults ready to provide protection. Control program can be killed off via Taskman+, but filtering still takes place.
Dislikes: The program seemed to have bugs. After running it awhile, I tried to turn filtering on, but it would immediately shut it off. A reboot fixed it. Plus, clicking on a spam I received, I was allowed access to a site that clearly should have been blocked. The site apparently contained no offensive keywords, and it will likely be included in their database shortly.
