Enable iOS Restrictions
On the iOS device, hit the “settings” icon > “General” > “Restrictions”.
While on the “Restrictions” page, select “Enable Retrictions” and then a prompt request will appear, asking you to set a PIN code. The PIN code serves as the authorization key when you want to update your restrictions.
Set-up Content Limitations
Just like any modern TVs today, you can also set limitations on what your child can only access. For example, you can set the limits depending on the movie ratings (G, PG, PG – 13, R, and NC – 17) you allowed. The same goes for TV contents, music, and apps.
Go to “Allowed Content” and select the areas on which you would like to set the content limits – “Music and Podcasts” > “Movies” > “Apps”, or “TV shows”.
Consider on Disabling Purchase Apps
Almost all online games today offer game upgrades by purchasing it with real money. If you wish to have a lot more relief that your credit card won’t be flooded with your kid’s online purchases, consider on disabling in-app purchases.
Modern children today are quite inclined with gadgets and the latest technology. So if your child unravels what you did on his phone in no time, don’t be too hard on yourself. At least you did your best. Therefore, the next best step that you should do is to give your child constant guidance, which might actually do the trick!
